To me and only speaking for myself I thought that it implied I shouldn't have been born. Thank you so much Tony Abbott for upsetting me from your first few sentences. Yes I was born and my mother had me stolen from her and that is why we had an apology. I did not find his speech sincere ( I cannot call it an apology).He had been briefed by the reference committee not to use the word "birth" to refer to parents but he still did anyway. I thought his response to the upset this caused to not be sincere. No he shouldn't have mentioned adoptive families as they benefitted from the mother's loss and adoptees suffered terribly in most cases.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
